How It All Began

Aoife's Bakery is a home based bakery which started out during the pandemic. Aoife has always worked in the food industry and has worked in well known kitchens in Limerick, Offaly and Dublin.

My business took off when my family and friends started recommending my bakes to others after tasting some of the sweet treats I had made.

As the business began during a lockdown, I decided to do postal orders nationwide which was a big hit! I also stocked most of my treats wholesale in coffee trailers in different counties over Ireland and in local markets, which had led people to request cakes. From this, I have found my passion for Wedding Cakes.​ 

​When you look at the bespoke wedding cakes on my Instagram, you will see that each one has its own individuality and is beautiful and elegant in it’s own right. This for me is the epitome of bespoke wedding cakes.

 It is a great privilege and a very humbling experience to be a part of that special moment in a person’s life.
